Christine Casey-Cooper is a leadership coach and the author of the satirical, but instructive book The Crass Captain's Guide to Management Dysfunction She was previously the Director of Operations at a Fortune 1000 corporation. She has held management positions in various functions including manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, customer service, and projects. In all of those functions, motivating people and getting the group working together toward a shared vision is not only critical to success, it’s critical to the sanity of the organization. When a start-up division of the company disregarded many of the basic principals of good management and proper treatment of employees, her experiences prompted the launching of the Crass Captain™ blog and website in an effort to collect humorous, but unfortunately, true stories from employees in many industries, in many job functions, and at many levels of organizations.
